'Haptic Stones: Gem #4' pendant / wall object
Roedeer hide, saddle leather, thread, lava-resin beads, rubber
19 x 4 x 2cm
In ‘Haptic Stones’, I aim to arouse curiosity by displaying a hair-fine imagery and a visual illusion. Pieces look like solid rocks rounded by the action of nature but feel like soft cushions that stimulate our sense of touch. Others look like gemstones bringing to light the underlying structure of matter.
