Marcos Guzman

Marcos Guzman is a contemporary jeweller based in Melbourne, Victoria. He completed a Bachelor of Fine Art specialising in Gold and Silver-smithing at RMIT in 2010, and subsequently completed the Honours Gold and Silver-smithing course through RMIT’s Object Based Practice program in 2013.

The introspection involved in Marcos’ jewellery work looks into reimagining personal, individual states of contemplation. It is a means for remembering, vacationing, exploring, escaping; an opportunity for the realisation of something fundamental and seemingly not complex.
