The series Crossing Borders is based on reuse with ‘up-cycling’ as the result. The raw material is aluminium from beer cans bought in Germany. They cannot be recycled for a refund in Denmark. The otherwise sensible refund system is rendered useless when crossing borders. Each pendant and ring is made with the material from one beer can.
